The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dorm room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and individual lockers. The showers were powerful and hot. I also appreciated the free travel card provided, made exploring the city easy. The hostel's location near tram stops and the train station was convenient. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Basel Backpack to others.

Located in a vibrant complex with craft brewery, bio restaurant, and social initiatives. Quirky shabby chic decor and friendly staff. Comfortable beds and nice common area with art magazines. Lovely bathrooms with skylights and plants.

This hostel is conveniently located right in the town centre with a supermarket opposite. You can easily catch the tram that takes you to the old town in no time. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and you even get a Basel-card upon arrival for free public transportation and discounts on museums.
The common areas could use some upgrading in terms of comfort and bathroom amenities.

The location was excellent, close to the central train station and within walking distance to the city center. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful.

First of all, the staff at this hotel were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and spoke English fluently, which made communication easy. Additionally, the hotel offers a free public transportation card, which is a great bonus for getting around the city. The location of the hotel in the former industrial complex-charming area was unique and added to the overall charm of my stay. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable, with cozy cushions and a comfortable bed.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic. Everything was okay.
